Chapter 761 Nash ended the call, clutching his phone with a mix of hesitation and determination before dialing Nina's number. However, due to the ongoing movement of the vehicle Nina was in, there was no signal.

When Nash tried calling, he was met with an automated message, "The number you have dialed is not in service. Please try again later..." The area was a war zone, chaotic and dangerous. A single misstep could result in being caught in the crossfire. How could Nina dare to venture here? "Captain, don't worry. I'll notify our contacts to find her. Nash's expression turned stern. "Keep in constant contact with Nina. If I can't reach her, you must." "Understood, Captain. You rest now. I'll call you when our contact arrives," James tried to coax Nash into resting. But Nash was too worried about Nina to sleep. His mind was entirely occupied with thoughts of her. Seeing no other choice, James knocked Nash out gently to force him to rest.

Meanwhile, Nina's vehicle headed towards Yaren. Initially, they passed tall buildings and ssigns of life, but soon they found themselves in a vast, desolate desert, with no signal and no people.

Nina clutched her gun tightly, worried that any slight mishap could doom them all.

"Miss Nina, the car has broken down.

The driver needs to get out and m check," Duy translated. Nina felt each second drag on painfully.

"The engine is broken. There's no signal here. I'll have to walk back to the last place we passed t get help.

If you can wait, stay in the car. If not, there are tents in the trunk..." the driver explained.
