The manager hesitated, casting a wary glance at Brianna. The boss had made it crystal clear: no members of the Brimer family were allowed in.

Flora, with a calm demeanor, said, "Don't worry, I'll handle Ray." In truth, Flora's arrival was a godsend for the manager. He'd been fretting over what to do if Brianna refused to leave and caused a scene. Now, with Flora taking the lead, even if Ray found out, she'd be there to support him.

"Alright, alright," the manager said, forcing a smile. "Shall I take you to the private room you and Mr. Connor usually use?" "Any room will do," Flora replied.

"Understood." The manager, with an air of deference, led Flora to the private dining room. Ivan and the others exchanged awkward glances at Brianna, whose face was flushed with rage.

Everyone knew Brianna had suggested dining at the Grandeur Hotel to humiliate Flora. But now, she couldn't even get past the door. Meanwhile, Flora, with just a few words, had the manager respectfully ushering them in.

The manager escorted them to the best private room, and Brianna's eyes grew even redder. She'd never been in such a top-tier room before! Why did Flora get to enjoy this? "Let's order, it's on me," Flora said, handing them the menu.

"But we were supposed to treat you. How can you pay? I'll cover it. You all order," Ivan insisted.

"If she wants to treat, let her," Brianna snapped, grabbing the menu and quickly picking out several dishes.

She deliberately chose the most expensive items, with each dish costing nearly two hundred, seven five to six hundred.

This meal was going to be pricey, easily a couple of thousand.

Ivan sighed internally, but it wasn't like they couldn't afford it. He planned to secretly transfer the money to Flora later.

Just then, the door swung open, and Ray strode in.

He didn't want to see any Brimer family members right now. He worried that if Brianna spoke again, he might lose his cool and throw her out.
