Chapter 310 The plane touched down in the early evening.

The sunset was breathtaking, like a sky drenched in blood, so stunning it made my heart skip a beat.

However, who would have guessed that Brandon would lean in close and whisper, "Looks like you can handle conversations with Cam quite well." With his little fanboy right there, I couldn't say much, so I pinched him lightly, signaling him to stop teasing me.

Even though I stayed quiet, Cameron was a chatterbox, talking non-stop about everything. From someone's pig giving birth to a strange creature that looked like an elephant, to a one-meter- long fish someone caught, to who liked who, and which widow was now with which man...

The last tI chere with Ellie, I saw the village as a pristine paradise, untouched and beautiful. Cameron's stories revealed this paradise also had its share of ordinary, messy problems.
