"There will be no fighting until the last war starts."

All attention flickered at the sudden appearance of a rabbit. The same one they saw before.

The players stomped forward at the Bunny and jabbed their fingers at Ren and his group. "But they stole our items! And now you're telling us that PvP is prohibited?! That's Bullsh*t!"

"Yeah! That doesn't make any sense!"

"Are you siding with them?!"

"First, they cheated, and now they're stealing items! They should be disqualified!"

"Yeah!"

Everyone united, and the area boomed with their dissatisfaction. It continued for seconds until an ominous chuckle hushed them.

"Oh, sorry," Ren huffed a laugh, and his head cocked to the side. "Please continue with your accusations. Maybe in that way, this server's greatest threat will be eliminated, and you can actually have a chance."

The others shut their mouths before another round of cursing and yelling boomed in the area.

Leonel exhaled in exasperation. "Ren, don't agitate them too much. I'm only one dwarf. I can't defend all of us against those numbers."

Ren gave a half shrugged. "It's fine. We'll just blow them in one shot."

"What did you say?"

"I dare you to say that again!"

"How dare you be arrogant when you're only a cheater!"

"Enough of this! Let's kill them!"

Before the others could move, however, the Rabbit stopped them with its stern voice and piercing glares.

"As I said, fighting during the break period is prohibited. And like I said the last time, Roaring Tigers and Fighting Lambs didn't violate any rules. Bringing Thieves into their ranks and stealing items from others during the war isn't against any rules."

"That can't be."

"How could that be not cheating?"

"If all of you are dissatisfied," the Rabbit cut in, "Then you're free to kill Roaring Tigers and Fighting Lambs when the next war starts. But as of now, there are still some guilds fighting in the chambers. Any further battle before that is finish is prohibited."

Leonel suddenly got a bad feeling about what the Rabbit said, and he asked Ren, "What does he mean by that?"

". . ." Ren didn't say anything. It was Sumeri who answered.

"It means that the last war is probably a survival of the strongest."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Roxy didn't like the sound of that.

No one spoke. Ren and Sumeri might be wrong, but the Rabbit just said the clues. And if what they were thinking was correct, then they were at a disadvantage.

However, Ren wasn't worried since he came prepared.

He couldn't use [Infernal Scepter] since it passed the GS requirement if he equipped it with his other items. Moreover, he couldn't just show that scepter out in the open, especially since Roxy and Nikolai were present. Not to mention that Golden Phoenix and Evie recognized that Staff as well.

[Infernal Scepter] was reserved for his other persona. For now, Ren was confident with his current equipment and his skills to defeat the other players.

Meanwhile, when the Rabbit mentioned that they could kill Roaring Tigers and Fighting Lambs, the smiles on the other guilds' faces couldn't be bought. Their eyes glint evilly, and their smug expression promised a massacre.

Leonel and Nikolai shivered while Roxy and Sumeri held their ground and crossed their hands. They were greatly mistaken if they thought that they would go down without a fight.

On the other hand, Ren didn't say anything as he used [Probe] on each player, planning his next move. There wasn't any need for concern. The other players only have half their HP left and some didn't have any MP left. They probably used all their items in the chamber to save their life. Not to mention that they stole some of it.

The clock continued to move, and not once that the other players stray their eyes away from Ren's group. They were like prey under the watchful eyes of the predator, waiting to pounce at the right opportunity.

When the Rabbit spoke again, Ren and the others were given a temporary respite from everyone's eyes. And Ren took that as an opportunity to signal the others to back one step at a time.

"Now, I believe everyone is already here," said the Rabbit when the last portal opened and closed.

Each guild assessed their surroundings, and they couldn't help but take a deep breath when out of the hundred guilds, they were now reduced to only more than ten, and some even represented their guild alone with little to no HP.

No one expected that this war would be brutal. All they thought about the Guild Wars was literally a war between Guilds. A tournament on who was the strongest. A one-time fight between groups.

Who knew that it was this tiresome and required so much more than a piece of good equipment and line-up? Even before the game started, the war had begun. And most of them mess up by not thoroughly thinking about the rules and exploiting their gaps.

It was definitely a learning lesson for everyone.

The Rabbit nudged its monocle on the bridge of its nose. "All of you await for the system's voice about the next war. Until then . . . best of luck."

Ren didn't know if it was just him or did the Rabbit stared at him for a brief moment. Then again, it was staring at everyone, so Ren didn't give it much thought.

The thunder raged on, and when the Rabbit disappeared, a woman's soft voice rang in everyone's ears.

<Congratulations on passing the second War, Dungeon Drop-Ins.

For the next war . . . each member of every guild will send one representative onto the Arena. The rules are as follows:

One, you can use your items in the fight.

Two, the player who remained standing in the Arena in the end is the victor of the first round.

Three, the guild the victor represents can't send another player in the succeeding rounds. There can only be one representative each round.

Four, the victor of the first round will fight the next set of players in the second round and soon.

Five, fights outside of the Arena are prohibited.

Six, any assistance outside of the Arena is prohibited.

Seven, the very last man standing on the Arena will be announced as the victor of this server, and the guild he represents will battle the other victors in every server until one guild is named Champion >
