“Is Austin not up yet?” “Your nana went out on a walk with your mom and got Austin to go with them.” Zachary said, “It’s so cold out today and Nana still went out for a walk?” “She said you guys gave her so many new coats for winter, now that the weather’s finally colder, she should put them to use and take in the cold air to show off her grandchildren’s gifts, or else no one would know that you

guys gave her anything.” Normally, when they went out, there would be heating in the car. There would also be heating in the office and at home too, so they would not feel the cold. @ It was only when they went out for a walk instead of taking the car that they could enjoy the winter air and really feel like it was wintertime.

Zachary could not help but chuckle.

“Nana just loves to show off.” Liam shook the newspaper and said, “In the future, I'd love to show off when my grandchild buys me a new coat too.” Zachary was speechless at this.

Serenity whispered into her husband’s ear, “You should buy two new coats for

“Zack, your mother, your nana, and myself are going back to Wildridge Manor around noon. Do you guys want to come with us?” Liam suddenly asked.

“So soon? Didn’t you guys say you'd be staying with us for a while?” “Yeah, Dad. It’s rare for you guys to come here so you should stay a little longer,” Serenity chimed in.

Liam folded the newspaper back together and placed it on the coffee table. When it came to his daughter-

in-law, he was a very gentle father-in- law. “We've been staying in the manor ever since we retired and we're used to it. Your mother wants to go back, so we're going back.” Their eldest son and daughter-in-law could regain their private space.

“Tonight, your mom has to attend a banquet too. She wants to head back so she can carpool with your aunts.” Liam revealed the main reason they were returning to Wildridge Manor.

Serenity knew of this. Tania had asked her if she wanted to go, and then changed her mind about letting Serenity go because she was afraid it would be too crowded and Serenity would get jostled.
