Chapter 308

Charlie heard her words and let her go, “Go ahead.”

Theresa stood up and went into the bathroom. She lifted her shirt and looked over her shoulder where he had

bitten her, which was extremely painful. However, Charlie, sitting in his wheelchair, stared at his injury with a sweet

smile.

Theresa came out of the bathroom and sat down in front of him, with a medicine cabinet in her hand. She

asked, “Give me your hand.”

Charlie was relieved and murmured, “Theresa.”

Theresa ignored him and picked up the alcohol, spraying it into his wound, “Does it hurt?”

“Ouch.” He pretended to be wronged, but Theresa didn’t care about his feeling, pressing his wound harder

instead. He asked, “Are you revenge on me?”

Theresa raised her eyes to look at Charlie, “Do think that I’m treating your wound because I feel sorry for you?”

Charlie said. “You’re so mean!”

Theresa said, “Does it still hurt?”

“No.” He became very depressed.

Theresa paused when she heard his words. Then she put everything away and then walked over to the couch

and sat down.

Charlie said, “I need to take a shower.”

“Go ahead.”

Charlie was going to ask her for help, but it occurred to him that he refused her help before, so he went into the

bathroom without bothering her.

Theresa sat on the couch and asked Cristina to introduce her a lawyer to consult about divorce.

After Charlie finished washing, he ignored her and straightly went to lie down on the bed himself.

Suddenly, Theresa’s phone rang and she picked it up, “Hello, Roderick.”

Charlie was about to fall asleep when he heard his name. He was lying down and could only see Theresa sitting

there, her slender fingers holding the phone. A strong sense of crisis attacked him and he immediately became

sober.

Roderick asked, “How’s Charlie? Have you made up with him?”

“Not yet.” Theresa frowned, not expecting Roderick to be quite so concerned about Charlie.

Roderick laughed, “What can I do for you?”

Theresa said, “No need, he and I are already getting a divorce.”

When she mentioned divorce, she heard Charlie break the glass. She turned back and found Charlie still awake.

staring at her with a complicated expression.

She ignored him and continued to talk to Roderick on the phone.

Roderick asked, “What’s going on?”
