Daphne came to see them.

Theresa introduced Cristina to her.

Daphne looked at Cristina and said gently, “Hello.”

The two girls shook hands.

Cristina sat next to Theresa and looked at Daphne. She had to admit that Daphne was a

wonderful person.

Cristina had grown up without parental love. Seeing Daphne, she had an inferiority complex.

Roderick looked at Leonard and smiled. “Good to see you again, Leonard.”

“You too.”

Theresa watched them and found that Leonard was more talkative in front of Roderick.

Sitting there, Cristina also watched them and found it incredible. “Leonard, you like Dr. Hill so

much? I don’t think you’re that nice to your dad.”

Daphne laughed. “He even said he wants Roderick to be his godfather.”

Daphne said, “You’re his mother. If you are okay with it, then I think it’s possible.”

Daphne did not know that the two kids were actually born to Theresa.

worry about us.”

“It’s not about you, but Theresa and the others.” Daphne had invited Theresa here. Of course, she would take care

of Theresa.

“No, my sister asked me to come over and have some fun, so I’m here to take a break.” Roderick looked at Theresa

and said, “Shall we go skiing after dinner?”

“Sure,” Cristina said. “But I’m not very good at it.”

Roderick said, “It’s okay. You can learn. It’s fun.”

After dinner, Roderick took them to the snowy mountain.

There was a place to rent ski gear at the foot of the mountain, so they changed before taking a cable car up the

mountain.

The hotel had just opened for business, so there weren’t many people on the mountain. Besides the staff, there

were only a few tourists.

Roderick walked up front and said, “It’s wonderful now when there are fewer people. When there are more people,

it won’t be so great.”
