Chapter 2 Back in High School

Sterling!

Audrey held Sterling’s hand tightly. Her fingernails almost pierced Sterling’s skin. She sobbed. Her

throat was dry and hoarse as if afire.

“Sterling, don’t die for me. I’m unworthy!”
