Chapter 6479 James looked at Light Thea and parted his lips but hesitated to speak.

He would have retorted with vehemence if Tai Chi had personally proposed the bet. However, hearing it from Light Thea, the other half of his wife, he was slightly uncertain.

James promptly sent Lesia a telepathic message, filling her in on Light Thea's backstory and providing her with all the details he knew.

Lesia sighed ruefully, "Regardless, we can't possibly fight her, right?" James looked at her complicatedly and closed his eyes. He felt no inclination to entertain Tai Chi’s proposal as it had no appeal to him. However, he wondered whether he could capture Light Thea and the possibility of restoring her memories even though Tai Chi was manipulating her.

James weighed the risks carefully, ultimately deciding against agreeing to the bet. Even with the Chaos Yin-Yang Eyes, he could not ascertain whether the Light Thea before him was authentic. If it were truly Light Thea, detaining her might result in harm and seal her fate of doom. Moreover, it remained uncertain whether Dark Thea and the Tai Chi Tribulation would be affected if Light Thea were forced to reincarnate again.

He decided the stakes were too high and not worth the risk.

Seeing this, Lesia roared, 'Thea!" James' eyes widened in shock. He clenched his fists as he erupted with rage. He roared, "I'll fucking kill you, bitch!" With determination in his eyes, he took several determined steps into the void, charging straight into the swirling mist.

Faced with countless lightning strikes speeding toward him, he cast the Dawnblaze Form and quickly spun around to evade them. Then, he rushed into the void again.

Ascending through the heavens, he passed through the thirteenth, fifteenth, and sixteenth heavens without stopping, determined to reach his destination. However, upon reaching the eighteenth heaven, he encountered an overwhelming force preventing him from advancing.
