Chapter 163 Tigra’s Real Goal

Leonardo, the suprerne leader of the Two Lakes area, had been killed.

None of the leaders of the eight forces survived either.

Their subordinates, which numbered into the thousands, had all been captured as well.

Things seemed to have settled down in the Two Lakes area.

“That’s right! Just who is Caspian anyway? Is he really just the Stewarts‘ useless son–in–

law?” Greg exclaimed. He was beginning to doubt Caspian’s identity.

He had assumed that with Leonardo personally leading the attack, he and his men could

have easily wiped out Caspian.

No one expected things to end up like this instead.

“Let’s cancel the plan for now and find a way to get our hands on the treasure from the

wife instead. She’s his weakness,” Taylor said thoughtfully.

my reward?” Greg asked expectantly.

Just then, there was a loud bang as someone kicked open the door to the hotel room.

“Thinking about leaving now? Don’t you think it’s a bit too late?” Caspian remarked as he

came in with Sylvia.

“Caspian!”

Celestia’s expression hardened at Caspian’s sudden arrival.

“Leave, Ms. York! I’ll delay them!” Adam yelled as he rushed toward Caspian.

However, Caspian did not do anything.

Sylvia dashed forward, and in the blink of an eye, she was gripping Adam by the neck.

“You overestimate yourself, fool,” she mocked.

Adam’s face turned bright red.

Celestia was rooted to the spot. She knew full well she had no chance of escaping.

“What on earth are you planning to do, Caspian?” Celestia asked shakily.

“It’s you and your family who insist on stirring up trouble. You came all the way to

Southlake City to mess around. It wouldn’t make sense if I didn’t fight back, right?”

Caspian commented. nonchalantly.

He flicked his hand, and Sylvia kicked Adam in the abdomen.

Adam’s head bashed against the wall, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.

Celestia froze. It was her first time being issued such a ruthless threat.

“This isn’t over yet, Caspian! We, the Yorks of Dhord City, won’t let you get away with

this!” Celestia uttered through gritted teeth.

Soon after, she fled with her tail between her legs. After leaving the hotel, she booked the

earliest flight back to Dhord City and left Southlake City.

After getting Sylvia to deal with Adam, Caspian left the hotel.

“Caspian, why didn’t you tie up all the loose ends by killing Celestia York as well?” Sylvia.

“Killing her won’t do anything. Our true opponent is her family, the Yorks of Dhord City. If

they’re adamant about pursuing this matter further, I don’t mind wiping them off the face

of the earth completely!” Caspian said with a smirk.

The incidents in Southlake City had nothing to do with the Yorks of Dhord City, but they

insisted on butting into the situation.

“I get it now, Caspian,” Sylvia said with a look of realization. “I hadn’t thought of that.”

funding. Southlake Corporation has resumed normal operations.

“What we need to do now is wait for Glorious Group to slip up. Once they do, we’ll have a

valid reason to wipe them out!” Caspian said.

Sylvia nodded. She understood what Caspian meant.

Her spies had uncovered some information. There was a formidable team of elite special

forces soldiers hidden inside Glorious Group.

There were hundreds of them, and their real goal was to assassinate Caspian!
