"I'll drop by later," Arnold muttered nonchalantly.

"Why not now? I'll cwith you," urged Aurelia, standing up. She quickly briefed the bodyguards and Avery Leah to keep an eye on the kids.

Arnold, a tad reluctant, rose to his feet. Beverley was sitting beside him and overheard their conversation.

"Arnold, Nova's gotten sick. It's probably from the heatwave we've had, and the air conditioning must've given her a cold," Beverley said.

Aurelia shot her a look, "Beverley, why don't you cwith us? We can check on Nova together." "Sure," Beverley nodded.

Aurelia had a reason for inviting her; she knew that if it were just her and Arnold, Lisa might feel uncomfortable.

Upon arriving at the villa, the wails of a child greeted them at the door.

Lisa was cradling her child, trying to soothe her while tears streamed down her own face.

"Nova's all bundled up, madam. She must be overheating. Let's loosen up her clothing and I'll take her," the nanny suggested soothingly.

"When | was a kid and got a fever, my mom would wrapup in blankets to sweat it out," Lisa explained.

Aurelia saw Nova's flushed face and quickly intervened, "Lisa, that's something you do in the winter, not the summer. Keeping her wrapped up will only raise her body temperature, possibly leading to a febrile seizure.

Hand her to me; I've been through this before." Startled by Aurelia's words, Lisa hastily handed over Nova. Aurelia unwrapped Nova and removed her clothing to cool her down. She asked the nanny to bring a bowl of cool water to help reduce the fever with a gentle massage.

Nova, feeling more comfortable, stopped crying and soon fell asleep.

Aurelia then had the nanny fetch a lemon to place on the sole of Nova's foot.

"She should be better in no time. When William had fevers, this was my go-to remedy. Kids have weaker immune systems, and getting sick is just a part of growing up. Fevers aren't necessarily bad, and it's like a system upgrade for their immunity." Beverley let out a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness you came, Aurelia. Arnold and | would've been clueless. Lisa, since you're a first-tmom, don't hesitate to call Aurelia. You can't be too careful with Nova; she's so fragile." Lisa nodded, her sobs subdued, "I just panicked." Leopold frowned, his concern evident. Could Lisa handle the responsibility of caring for Nova? She was overwhelmed by a simple fever and nearly made a grave mistake.

"I'll arrange for a family doctor to stay nearby, always on call for Nova," he declared.

Aurelia patted the sleeping Nova, "Having a doctor isn't enough. You need to be present, too. You're the pillar of this home, and Lisa needs that stability." Arnold replied, "I'm not a doctor. My presence won't solve medical issues. Plus, I'm swamped with preparations for my photo exhibit and filming a major documentary. | can't be bogged down with these domestic trifles." With that, Aurelia held back further comment, acknowledging his busy schedule.

Beverley comforted Lisa, "In the Stirling family, men work outside, and women manage the home. We've got nannies, maids, butlers, and doctors aplenty to help with children. Arnold has enough on his plate without adding household worries. You need to get used to caring for Nova and learn from the family doctor. That's how the women in the Stirling family have always done it. Aurelia raised her kids the sway. Leopold never interfered." Aurelia couldn't help but facepalm. If Leopold heard these words...
