Chapter 645

Rosalie informed her of the hospital’s name and said, “How about I come and pick you up now? I’m free,

anyway.”

Amelia was quite shocked to see a black car appear at the entrance of the residential area she had rented. There

was also a bodyguard and a driver accompanying Rosalie. Amelia looked at Rosalie in confusion. “This is…”

“Jon arranged them,” Rosalie explained. “I’m married to him now and pregnant for three months.” Amelia widened

her eyes and looked at Rosalie in surprise. “You… You’re married and pregnant? With Jonathan?”

“Yes,” Rosalie responded curtly. “Let’s go. Get in the car.”

After entering the car, Amelia still had her eyes fixed on Rosalie, trying to digest the information she had just

gotten. Amelia did not expect so many things to happen in a few days.

way, Amelia, your lawsuit will be brought to court in a month. By then, other than me, I’ll find another lawyer who is

good at dealing with this kind of case for you. There will be a higher chance of success, but…” Rosalie hesitated for

a moment. “I am not completely sure I can win this case, can control public opinion and prevent Aiden from being

exposed by the news media.” Amelia was a smart person and immediately understood Rosalie’s implications. “Are

you going to ask Jonathan for help with my matters?”

“This isn’t a difficult thing for Jon. Although I haven’t mentioned it to him yet, I think… I think he will agree.” Rosalie

smiled faintly, thinking, “When the time comes, even if… Even if Jonathan wants me to pay a price, I’ll do it as long

as I can afford it.””

She wanted to repay Amelia and protect Aiden.

Amelia hesitated. “Rosalie, I appreciate your kindness, but-”

“This is nothing. Then, it’s decided,” Rosalie interrupted.

“Did you willingly choose to marry Jonathan?” Amelia asked.

“There were many reasons, but now, I don’t feel any reluctance. You know I’ve always been alone and longed for a

real home. Now, I have a family. Sometime later, I will have three lovely children accompanying me. I think it’s

quite nice.” A trace of tenderness arose on Rosalie’s face.

Amelia froze. “Three?”

“Yeah. I’m pregnant with triplets,” Rosalie said.

Amelia was shocked. She had been pregnant and given birth to a child. Naturally, she knew the hardships of giving

birth to a child. She felt that it was difficult enough to birth to one child, let alone three.

“It’ll be hard on you once your stomach grows bigger,” Amelia remarked.

“I know. I’m prepared.” Rosalie gently touched her abdomen with her palm. Her eyes were filled with excitement

for their birth.

Amelia thought, “Since Rosalie is married to Jonathan, he will definitely find the best doctor and hospital for her.

He’ll fully prepare everything, so I’m not too worried.”

Rosalie led Amelia to Lillian’s ward when they arrived at the hospital. Lillian was still lying in the ICU ward, and

Amelia could only look at Lillian, who was in a coma, through the transparent glass.

While looking at Lillian in that condition, Amelia’s heart felt extremely heavy.

Rosalie accompanied her by her side. Upon seeing her friend’s head wrapped in a layer of thick gauze, Rosalie was

determined to find the person who had hurt Lillian.

However, there was good news saying that Lillian’s condition had improved. The hospital might be able to transfer

her out of the ICU ward in a few days. Not long after, they could proceed with the second operation.

After visiting Lillian, Rosalie sent Amelia back. Suddenly, the driver stopped the car. Rosalie was caught off guard

and found that several other black cars had surrounded her.

Then, a figure got out of the car and walked toward Rosalie’s car. The bodyguard in the front seat had exited the

car, stopping Calvin at the door.

Calvin glanced at the bodyguard. Then, those people behind him directly stepped forward, and the two parties were

suddenly engaged in a heated brawl.

Although Jonathan had carefully selected the bodyguards for Rosalie, Calvin had more people on his side. Soon,

Rosalie’s bodyguard was quickly subdued.

Calvin walked to the car door, opened it, and approached the door on Rosalie’s side. His handsome face, laced with

a trace of tiredness, appeared in her vision as he said hoarsely, “Rosalie, I have something to say to you.”

Rosalie frowned and said, “If you have something to say, you can do it properly. Is there a need to do it this way?”

“If I don’t do this, I’m afraid I won’t even have a chance to talk to you.” Calvin smiled bitterly and said, “I just want

to speak to you in a quiet place, can I?”

His voice sounded almost pleading.

Rosalie pursed her lips. Looking at Calvin, she was reminded of how he had been covered in blood after saving her

without regard for his own life.

Ultimately, he had saved both her and her children’s lives.

“All right. We can talk in a quiet place, but please let them leave.” She pointed at the subdued bodyguard, driver,

and Amelia.

“Of course,” Calvin agreed without hesitation.

“Rosalie!” Amelia called her anxiously.

“Don’t worry, Amelia. I’ll let the driver take you home first. I’ll be fine,” Rosalie assured her and turned to Calvin.

“Let’s go.”

After Rosalie got into Calvin’s car, the cars drove away quickly.

Amelia sat in the backseat and watched uneasily as the cars drove off. On the other hand, the bodyguard swiftly

took out his phone and reported the situation to Jonathan.

Calvin’s car headed to his private mansion’s entrance. Rosalie’s expression changed slightly when the car drove

past the empty space in front of the mansion entrance.

She used to stand there for an entire night. Back then, he had been her only hope. She desperately hoped that he

could meet her so that he could help her.

At that time, he had been her last hope.

She finally met him in the end but could not even speak to him.

Calvin seemed to have read Rosalie’s thoughts and murmured, “It was my fault that day. I shouldn’t have avoided

you or done nothing when you needed help, causing you so much pain.”

“It’s all in the past,” Rosalie said indifferently as she lowered her gaze.
