Chapter 110: Attack

While Fang Yu was busy decimating Empyrea on their card game, she heard some knocks on her door. She looked who it was, and she saw that it was Li Min. Upon opening the door and talking to him, Fang Yu realized that she was being called for a meeting.

“There will be an emergency meeting now, and I need to be there?” Fang Yu tilted her head as she looked at Li Min questioningly.

“Didn’t that Ling Tian prick said that I have to be on house arrest? What made him change his mind?”

Lin Ming just scratched his head as he said, “I actually do not know too. He said that it’s important for you to be there. I just advise you to be alert of their schemes.”

Fang Yu nodded in approval at Lin Ming’s advice.

“Do not worry, I will shut his mouth before he can even spit out whatever schemes he had.”

Fang Yu and Empyrea then left with Li Min towards the meeting room.

When Fang Yu arrived, she saw that all the other disciples were present already. It seems they were only waiting for Fang Yu to arrive.

When Tang Ya saw that Fang Yu looked fine, she rushed towards her and hugged her tightly.

“Do not worry, I will find a way to f**k that Ling Tian up later, I promise.”

“Ok, ok. But be sure to tell me that. I want to join in too.”

At that moment, Ling Tian felt some shivers in his spine while he sat on his chair. It was as if there was someone plotting against him. He just shrugged it off, thinking,

“I have many enemies already, I am sure they wanted to torment me already. Hmm?” He frowned as he felt something stirring with his fragment of the Pan Gu Divine Tablet.

He can still feel the fifth fragment was inside the Forest of Death. As for the other three, they were all heading towards the Tian Ji Empire!

“S**t! They immediately swooped in now that all the fragments have surfaced! I have to be prepared now! I am sure only 1 or 2 of them will come here. Why did you all decide to do it now? I am still busy here!” Ling Tian complained silently as he squirmed on his chair.

While Ling Tian was uncomfortable with his predicament, Fang Yu had no way of knowing about the other fragment holders. Because Fang Lin had cut off his connection with Fang Yu, Fang Yu was not able to know about their arrival.

That might be a good thing, since the topic of their meeting now managed to attract Fang Yu’s attention.

“Wang Hao had been found already?” Tang Ya exclaimed as she stood up in her seat. She was clearly excited upon hearing this. “Where was he found?”

“Err... should we really trust you Tang Ya?” Long Juo, who had been sulking in the corner, suddenly spoke up. “If I can remember, you have been his acquaintance. Maybe you are his accomplice, and you plan on helping him secretly...”

“Shut up, pipsqueak!” Tang Ya slapped the table as she roared at Long Juo. “So what if we were acquaintances? I know him well that I believe he is innocent. I am here to save him, and to show the truth.”

Long Juo was about to reply when Tang Ya continued her speech.

“Besides, he’s our fellow disciple! Don’t you see it? The sect issued us to capture Wang Hao alive! That means that they want us to prevent others from killing him! Your attitude seems to say the contrary!”

“...........”

In the end, Long Juo found no way to rebut. She sat on her chair as she glared both at Tang Ya and Fang Yu angrily.

Upon seeing Long Juo’s look, Fang Yu just said,

“Pa pa pa pa pa pa!”

Poor Long Juo turned pale as she looked down. She stayed like that for the whole duration of the meeting.

It was Li Min who spoke next.

“Let me say the info then. Wang Hao was found strolling inside the slums of the Solstice Kingdom. Accompanying him was Princess Eleanor of the Watercloud Family.”

“Princess Eleanor? The one who got missing after the attack at the Watercloud Family?”

“Yes, that one.” Li Min massaged his temples as he continued.

“Now that the missing princess was found with him, aside from the crime of killing three princes, he will absolutely be charged with kidnapping too. That’s three of the 8 Families coming to kill him.”

The atmosphere turned solemn after that.

“I know you all want to capture Wang Hao alive for the mission points. But Tang Ya was right, you know. He was our fellow disciple. Whatever crimes he did, it was our responsibility to ensure his safety. Once we caught him, that’s when we apply the proper punishment.”

Ling Tian then interjected Li Min at this moment. “That means we had to repel the assault of the Fireblood, Goldscar and Watercloud Family. We will also risk offending the Tian Ji Empire. You know, we can just let him die. The Grand Elder did not say anything about point reduction. All of us will still have the same score.”

“You!” Fang Yu and Tang Ya tried to rush at Ling Tian, but Empyre held them by their collar, managing to stop them.

“You know, they might also be testing our character here! Your attitude now on letting Wang Hao die will greatly affect the way the Elders of the Sect will view you. Are you sure you want to risk that?”

“Of course, I am fine with that. It’s strength that decides everything after all.”

Before another verbal battle began, a messenger rushed in, interrupting the meeting.

“I have some important news! The Kingdom rebels, called the Raiders of the Night, had been assembling all of its members! From the info of our spies, it seemed like their leader was about to break through the Dao Domain Stage. Once their leader breaks through, they will set out to siege the castle!”

But before the disciples could process the news, the messenger added one more shocking info.

“It was also said that the leader of the Raiders assigned Wang Hao with the honorary leader position! That means he had the power of the leader while the real leader attempts to break through!”

This is bad, Fang Yu thought to herself. She did not know how Wang Hao managed to acquire that position in the rebel group, but he pretty forced himself on a dead-end.

By declaring his allegiance with the Raiders of the Night, he had declared his defiance against the Solstice Kingdom. This gives them absolute rights to slay him. And with the Skydome Family nearby, Wang Hao pretty much managed to offend 4 of the 8 Families.

“Please Master, can you just cool it off? You pissed 4 of the 8 Families already! Do not make it all 8 of them!” Fang Yu knew that her Master has the ability to attract disasters. Wherever he goes, something will happen.

Just as the disciples were about to talk about this piece of shocking news, another messenger arrived. His body was full of wounds. He obviously went through hellish conditions just to get his info through.

“Terrible news! The Raiders of the Night just made their move! All their members and the generals started attacking!”

“What?”

“Because the soldiers were still tired and they were caught by surprise, the Raiders easily managed to beat the soldiers manning the gate. Right now, all of them were marching towards the Capital. The one leading them was Wang Hao and Princess Eleanor!”

Fang Yu flopped in her chair as her worst fears were confirmed. She knew that Wang Hao was a shameless person. He prefers to attack when one least expects him to do so. She just wished that Wang Hao was not that shameless to attack now.

She clearly underestimated her Master.

“Not only that, but with their ingenious attack tactics, they managed to preserve 85% if their forces. Their intent seems to be clear. They wanted to besiege the castle and slay the queen.”

At that moment, the two messengers kneeled as in front of the Immortal God Sect Disciples. They bowed with their foreheads in the floor as they said,

“Please lend us your help!”

Ling Tian smiled amicably as he approached the wounded messenger. He patted his shoulders as he said,

“Of course, we will help you, we have to discipline that fellow disciple of us anyway.”

“Thank you!!!” The wounded messenger cried as he hugged Ling Tian. Ling Tian awkwardly stood there as the wounded man bawled while hugging him.

The wounded messenger then silently muttered,

“If you want to help that much, why don’t you just die now?” The wounded messenger’s body then started to glow.

Everyone at the room could see that underneath the wounded messenger’s robes, multiple explosive talismans were pasted!

All of them paled as the wounded messenger maniacally said,

“We Raid during the Night for we shun the Light of Injustice!”

“Booom!!!!!”

“.............”
