As Huang Fu said that, Meiling blushed slightly as she said, “Right, senior brother Fu, it’s my mistake.”

Seeing Meiling’s innocent reaction, Huang Fu couldn’t help his eyes from glazing over her curvaceous figure with desire. She was a really beautiful girl, Huang Fu didn’t mind if a girl like her warmed his bed tonight.

‘It’s a pity father didn’t take my advice to try and convince the Lin Clan Patriarch to betroth her to me, instead, he had uncle marry the only sister of the Lin Clan Patriarch.’

Looking at Meiling’s beautiful oval-shaped face, and her busty chest in her white robes, he couldn't help but feel thirsty all of sudden.

However, the thought of the Lin Clan Patriarch's overprotective nature of her caused his once erected little brother to immediately shrink, and thoughts of having her were placed at the back of his mind.

Clearing his throat slightly, Huang Fu said, “Junior sister need not worry as long as you're more careful of your words in the future. And as for your question from before, indeed I have my suspicions that it was our Sword Pavilion Head Master who order the second prince to be promoted to the Inner Sect and enter our Sword Pavilion. For people in the know of our Head Master’s identity, they probably also suspect the same thing. The Vice Head Master could be considered a talented sword cultivator, who could likely become the next Head Master, but he certainly doesn’t have the authority to overrule the Academy Leaders decision.”

Meiling nodded her head as she listen to Huang Fu’s explanation, but a questioning look suddenly covered her face as she asked, “If that is the case, why would our Head Master show so much favor to the second prince? Even though he likely has the highest status among the disciples in the Inner Sect, or possibly the entire Academy, his importance is greatly diminished by the fact that he’s a trash that doesn’t have the ability to cultivate.”

Thinking for a moment, Huang Fu’s voice lowered as he slowly said, “Do you remember the incident between the crown prince and eldest senior brother Ling Tian?”

Meiling nodded her head, and then said, “Who hasn’t? It was said that the relationship between eldest senior brother Ling Tian and the crown prince was close despite them being one of the biggest rivals of each other. After an unknown incident happened between them, which was around the time the both of them were in the Core Formation Realm five years ago, they both had a massive falling out that ended with the crown prince leaving the Celestial Sword Faction, which they both had formed together. The Celestial Sword Faction was eventually renamed the Divine Sword by eldest brother Ling Tian. Up until the point when the crown prince left the Celestial Academy two years ago, they both were always at odds in the Academy with them fighting every time they both so much as glimpse the other. With eldest brother Ling Tian’s unmatched sword skills and the crown prince’s legendary Divine Lotus, their battles were always intense despite them being equally matched. Whatever that sparked the conflict between them must have been a serious matter for them to have come to hate each other so much.”

After listening to Meiling’s rather long explanation, Huang Fu was slightly surprised as he didn’t expect her to give such a detailed retelling of those past events.

Well, anything for the readers he guessed.

“That’s right, they were once close and because of a certain incident, they become the biggest of enemies. That was the gist of it, but what people don’t know was what caused their friendship to derailed in such a dramatic fashion that they would battle at just the mere sight of the other person.”

Hearing this, Meiling became curious as to what could have possibly caused these two heavenly geniuses who had the title of one of the Three Peaks and was once the closest of friends to practically become mortal enemies.

Huang Fu spoke up and Meiling listen closely to his words, “The thing that sparked the incident between them, that not many people knew about… was because of our Head Master’s beauty.”

Those words struck Meiling like a lightning bolt, and she even slightly refused to believe what she had just heard.

Two of the most talented geniuses of this generation, and possibly the generations previously, hadn’t become enemies because of their positions, but because of a woman?

Huang Fu had heard about the Head Master’s goddess-like beauty, but she couldn’t help but have the admiration she held for the crown prince and her eldest senior brother Ling Tian to fade away and be replaced with slight contempt.

Huang Fu’s voice sounded again, “Of course, this is all speculation, but it was after meeting with our Head Master for the first time that they start to become at odds. So whatever the cause of their disagreement was, it happened during that meeting with the Head Master.”

Listening to Huang Fu’s words, a thought suddenly clicked in Meiling’s head, “So, does that mean the Head Master going out of her way to help the second prince was because she… with the crown prince...”

Meiling words trailed off as she didn’t know how to express her thoughts on this matter.

Huang Fu shrugged his shoulders and said, “Who knows if that is the case, our Head Master is known to be a smart and cunning person so maybe she saw some use in the second prince and decided to keep him close. But there’s one thing for sure that I, and many people know, is that when this news reaches eldest senior brother Li Tian after he exits his year-long seclusion, being the crown prince’s younger brother wouldn’t be the only reason he’d look for trouble with him.”

Hearing Huang Fu’s words, Meiling couldn’t help but say, “Serves him right for trying to have me become his dual cultivation partner. Did he think I was some common street girl who would spread her legs and give him my chastity because he asked? Who does that little brat think he is?!”

As Meiling became angered by Xi Shen's words once again, Huang Fu who heard that Meiling still had her chastity slowly licked his lips.

After a while, Huang Fu unfolded his legs and stood up from his seated position. With a smile on his face, he approached Meiling and placed a hand on her shoulder while trying to comfort her.

“Junior sister Meiling, you shouldn’t take the second prince’s words to heart. He’s nothing more than a trash who can’t cultivate and isn’t worthy of you. If it wasn’t for his current position as the second prince as well as his father's authority and his brother’s status as a top genius of the Maple Continent, no one would even pay attention to him and he would have faded into obscurity long ago.”

Hearing Huang Fu's words, Meiling's face turn slightly red as she lowered her head.

However, her face suddenly switched from embarrassed to disgust as her gaze involuntary fell on Huang Fu’s nether regions to see a visible dent in his pants.

Meiling immediately backed away from Huang Fu, while thoughts about the recent rumors she had heard involving him being a closet lecherer appeared in her mind.

Other than being well known for his cultivation talents and his position as the Sword Sovereign Faction’s Leader, Huang Fu was also the eldest son of the Bai Clan Patriarch.

As for the rumors of him sleeping with different women left and right, they were taken as slander against him, since Huang Fu was known to have an upstanding personality that was a complete contrast to the rumors of him being a lecher.

However, Meiling was starting to question whether those rumors were actually false.

Seeing Meiling’s reaction, Huang Fu’s expression turn to confusion as he asked, “Junior sister Meiling, has something troubled you?”

Huang Fu took a step closer to Meiling, but she glared at him in anger, which made him pause his approach.

Afterward, Meiling coldly said, “Faction Leader Huang Fu, I think it’s time for me to take my leave, goodbye.”

Meiling in one swift motion, turn and exited the room.

‘Thud!’

The door slammed shut behind her.

Looking at the closed door, Huang Fu’s eyes began to shine.

Sensing that he was getting aroused and with it showing no signs of calming down anytime soon, he thought about ways to relieve his sexual urges.

“Hmm, who should I call this time? Will it be that seductive girl Shui, or that sunflower Jinghua?… Haha, I know, what about both of them?”

As Huang Fu said that, he casually sat back in his chair and took out his identity medallion, before activating its communication mechanism.

Huang Fu decided he would enjoy tonight to the fullest.
