Clara’s words were harsh, criticizing Mara to no end, and Mara’s face had already

darkened on the other end of the phone.

“You make it sound so easy, just lure him away from that tramp for a minute or two? Do

you know how many bodyguards are watching? After that old woman’s incident at his

Mara despised Ivy more than anything. Ivy intervened and ruined her years-long

relationship with Balfour. Her years of hard work and restraint turned into a joke.

“My hatred for her is as strong if not stronger than yours! Just wait for me to come up with

a reason to separate them.”
