Chapter 2153

Balfour mulled it over and decided it was best to confront her with evidence in hand before spilling the beans.

Thinking of Ivy’s gaze, a sly smirk played at the corners of his lips. He quickened his pace.

The moment Giselle called, Balfour merely glanced at his phone. He just tossed it onto the passenger seat and

neglected it.

That woman was a walking fiction factory. Balfour couldn’t tell if there was an ounce of truth left in her words.

With the evidence secured, there was no point in engaging in further conversation with her.

“Argh!”

Giselle’s hand was trembled with visible veins before she slammed her phone onto the couch.

*Damn!”

That infuriating man was such a coward!

It must be Ivy’s meddling without her, why on earth would Balfour leave Giselle behind?

Giselle’s eyes fixed on Balfour’s forgotten blazer draped over the sofa, an idea sparked.

“Ivy, has Balfour made it home? He left his blazer here. When he rushed out, he was so weary he forgot to take it

with him. I’ll

bring it over when I get a chance. Could you remind him for me? He’s probably driving, so I won’t call.”

The photo Giselle sent featured her hand holding Balfour’s blazer. Ivy’s breath hitched upon receiving the message.

Had things between them reached such a stage?

Had they dined out and ended up at Giselle’s place afterward?

No wonder Balfour didn’t want to share his plans with Ivy. He was cozying up to another woman behind her back.

Even if their relationship was nothing but contractual, couldn’t he have at least given her a heads-up?

Ivy felt like a complete fool. She was waiting quietly in her room for Balfour’s return, only to realize he was coming

back from another woman’s place.

She had even covered for him in front of his grandparents, claiming he was tied up with work.

And that woman could very well be the one framing her!

Staring at the glaring message, Ivy had no desire to respond. What was she supposed to say?

She wasn’t a messenger for their liaisons. Why should she be informed about such matters?

It was just a blazer. Balfour had a closet full of them. Missing one wouldn’t make any difference.

Ivy wasn’t naive. She could see right through Giselle’s braggadocio.

Yet, that arrogance was founded on the fact they had indeed spent such time together.

She had the right to boast.
