Most of Ivy’s fans didn’t show up on the internet, but deep down they knew that on the vast expanse of

the internet, disliking Ivy had become the prevailing trend.

These devoted fans, who genuinely admired her, were now being labeled as crazed and delusional.

Just like some fans had pointed out, the film was nearing its conclusion, demanding more of Ivy’s

energy to bring the character of Valor to life.

With Alyssa in her corner, Ivy felt reassured, entrusting the matter to her-a level of trust she hadn’t even

afforded her own parents.

Meanwhile, over at the Dunhills’, Clara had returned home seething with rage, fresh from

Ignoring the servant’s gentle reminder to change into slippers, she flung her purse onto the couch and

crashed into it with a huff.

In the kitchen, Tessa was rustling up a homely dinner when she noticed Clara’s fury. Quickly handing

her apron to a nearby servant, Tessa went to greet her with a smile.



“What’s the matter, Clara? Who’s gone and ruffled our little lady’s feathers?” she asked, her tone

dripping with maternal warmth.

Clara let out a scornful laugh, “Who else but Ivy, that wretch, to make my blood boil.”

Tessa’s smile stiffened, “Ivy moved out ages ago, and we’ve cut ties; how could she possibly affect you

now?”

Clara’s expression instantly turned woeful as she clung to Tessa’s arm. “Haven’t you seen. the news?

Everyone’s saying Ivy’s a bully, the whole internet is against her.”


