Chapter 1091 Enthusiastic
"You don't look well, Janet. What's wrong?"
Cup of coffee in hand, Elizabeth approached Janet. Her knee caught the edge of Janet's suitcase.
"Sorry," Jsaid, quickly moving her suitcase.
She stared at the steaming coffee on the table, lost in thought.
Noticing that Jseemed strangely vacant, Elizabeth waved her hand and said, "What's on your mind? You haven't heard a
word I've said, have you?"
"I'm sorry.I just didn't sleep well last night.Don't worry."
Jreturned to her senses, smiled, and tried to concentrate on her work.
"Well, I should get back to work."
Elizabeth looked at Jand then at the suitcase.
Shaking her head, she returned to her desk.
At dusk, when most of her colleagues had left, Jpacked up her things. She didn't know where she should go, so she decided
to find a hotel for the tbeing.
Elizabeth hadn't left.
When she saw Jstruggling with the suitcase, she asked, "Would you like to stay at my aunt's place tonight, Janet? She
hasn't seen you for such a long tand keeps asking when you'll visit."
Earlier, Elizabeth had spoken to Draco and established that Jwasn't due to go on a business trip.

Janet's reason for bringing a suitcase to the stuwas not work related.
Had she quarreled with Brandon? Jliked Sophia, Elizabeth's aunt, but was still hesitant.
"But aren't you going on a date?"

She had heard a car horn outside, and when she checked who it was, she saw Frank.
He must have cto collect Elizabeth for a date.
"It doesn't matter. It's not an important date." Elizabeth smiled.
Frank was making her angry recently.
Elizabeth thought she could use this opportunity to punish him.
Noticing that Jwas still unsure, Elizabeth picked up her suitcase and said, "Let's go.
You don't have to tellwhat happened if you don't want to.
But we're friends, okay? At least letstay with you."
"What about your date with Frank?" Jasked.
In an apologetic tone, she added, "I can stay in a hotel."
Elizabeth grabbed her hand, and they went downstairs together.
"Don't worry.Frank will be fine about it."
Frank saw the suitcase in Elizabeth's hand and was confused.
"Why are you carrying a suitcase?"
Then he noticed Jbehind her.
Frank looked around. He frowned and asked, "Didn't Brandon cto pick you up, Janet?"
"Don't mention that nto me." Janet's eyes darkened.

Frank understood.
Raising his eyebrows, he put the suitcase into the trunk.
"Where are we going? Should we find a hotel for Janet?"

"Drive us to Aunt Sophia's place. She's been missing Janet."
Elizabeth got into the passenger seat and fastened her seat belt.
The light in Frank's eyes dimmed. He avoided Janet's gaze and cautiously whispered in Elizabeth's ear.
"Didn't we agree to go to my place tonight?"
"I've changed my mind.If you don't want to drive us, we can take a taxi."
Frank didn't know what to say.Jtittered in the back seat.
"But we agreed to watch a movie together,"
Frank grumbled before starting the engine.
On their way, Frank touched Elizabeth's shoulder and asked quietly, "Did Jquarrel with Brandon and run away from home?"
Elizabeth glanced at Janet, concerned.
She tightened her lips and grabbed Frank's hand.
"Jis struggling today.Don't ask why. She'll tellwhen she's ready."
When they arrived at Sophia's place, it was already dinner time.
They rang the doorbell twice, and Sophia opened the door. She was wearing an apron.
"Janet, how wonderful to see you again.Elizabeth didn't tellyou were coming, or I would have made more food."
Sophia smiled at Janet, grasped her hand and led her into the apartment.
The room was filled with the aroma of hcooking, Looking at the dishes on the table, Jsmiled, "There are already plenty
of dishes here."
Sophia's smile brightened.
She noticed Janet's suitcase and said, "Feel free to stay here for as long as you want.Just think of this as your own home."

Moved by her words, Jsaid, "Thank you, Aunt Sophia.I might need to stay for a few days."
